Here are some insights on my research and field work. Enjoy!
Amphibian population dynamics, adaptive management, and endangered species conservation and management.
Broadly, my focus is on linking research with downscaled climate projections for amphibian habitat conservation. My thesis work involves defining habitat quality in terms of demographic parameters and climatic covariates, for three Puerto Rican frog species (Eleutherodactylus wightmanae, Eleutherodactylus brittoni, and Eleutherodactylus cochranae). I will determine levels of abundance, distribution, and reproduction at surveyed sites which will give insight intro transient dynamics.
